How often does WireTrap fetch new posts?

Every 30 minutes. Monitors run on a rolling schedule: the system checks which monitors are due and fetches them in batches. First fetch after creating a monitor happens within 30 minutes.

Why is my Feed empty?

Most common causes: (1) The monitor was just created: wait 30 minutes. (2) The query returns no results on X or Reddit directly: paste it into x.com/search to test. (3) Posts were fetched but all scored below your minimum score filter: clear filters and check again.

What does the relevance score actually measure?

It measures how well a post matches your Brand Brief: specifically whether the person posting matches your ICP and whether their post signals a need your product addresses. It's not a measure of post quality or the author's influence.

Why did a post score low when it seems very relevant?

Check the AI reasoning in the post detail panel. Common causes: (1) Your Brief is too vague: the AI doesn't have enough to go on. (2) The post context doesn't match your ICP even if it mentions relevant keywords. (3) The intent doesn't match: "sharing opinion" often scores lower than "seeking agency".

Why don't my AI-drafted replies sound like me?

AI reply drafts use the sample replies in your Brief as a voice reference, preferring the one that matches the post's intent. If drafts sound generic, add more sample replies (ideally one per intent category) and write them in your own words, so the AI has real voice to mirror.

Why did Auto-Reply stop posting?

Check the reply log for error types. Common causes: (1) Auth token expired: re-add the account. (2) Daily limit reached: waits until UTC midnight. (3) No posts met your score + intent criteria. (4) All opted-in accounts hit their daily cap.

How do I improve scoring accuracy?

• Make your ICP more specific: industry, company size, role, and specific pain point
• Add 3–5 example posts with detailed "why relevant" notes
• List all competitors: posts venting about them score higher when the AI has the competitor names
• Revisit your Brief after the first week of data: the reasoning field in post details shows you what's causing misses

What uses up my credits?

One credit is spent per post WireTrap fetches and scores against your brief (1 credit = 1 post). A post is only ever charged once: already-scored posts are never re-counted, so you only pay for fresh signal. Fetching that returns nothing, alert delivery, auto-reply posting, and reply drafting do not cost credits. See Billing & Credits for details.
